Joana Filipe is an Interior/Exhibition Designer and Creative Producer.
She has been the Creative Producer for the East London Comics and Arts Festival since 2013 where her role is to coordinate the Festival organization, create the overall design, 3D displays and optimize visitor experience.
Alongside, Joana has been working on a series of exhibitions, from consultancy to exhibition Design. With clients such as Thames and Hudson, Fashion Space Gallery, Greenpeace and Converse.
With a making background (BA and MA in Fine Arts Sculpture) she co-founded Silicone Brothers in 2004, a prop-making studio to support artists and designers develop their artwork and products (based in Lisbon).
She joined the Contemporary Team at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 2010, where she assisted on a number of exhibitions, and was part of the Friday Late organization. In 2010 she curated the Friday Late Archive Live.
She lives and works in London.
